Task:

Develop and produce Braincast, a podcast series by Brainster aimed at delivering insightful content on education, technology, and career development to engage and expand their audience.

Tactics:

We implemented a comprehensive strategy that included pre-production planning, engaging production techniques, and efficient post-production workflows to ensure a high-quality and impactful podcast. 

  • Pre-Production:
    • Concept Development: In direct collaboration with Brainster, we defined the podcastโ€™s purpose, target audience, and key themes to align with Brainsterโ€™s mission. The format was set to include 45-minute episodes released bi-weekly, featuring interviews, expert insights, and Q&A segments.
    • Content Planning: Conducted in-depth topic research to select relevant subjects, coordinated industry experts and educators as guests.
    • Technical Preparation: Chose high-quality audio equipment and set up a soundproof recording environment. We developed a complete studio inside the Brainster offices. Test runs were conducted to troubleshoot potential issues and ensure a seamless recording experience.
  • Production:
    • Recording Sessions: Scheduled interviews based on guest availability, facilitating engaging and insightful conversations. Ensured real-time quality control for audio clarity and consistency.
    • Post-Production: Edited recordings to remove errors and enhance video and sound quality. Added branded intro and outro music to establish a professional identity.
  • Distribution and Promotion:
    • Published episodes on popular platforms like YouTube and Spotify.
    • Promoted the podcast through Brainsterโ€™s social media channels, dedicated landing pages, and email newsletters to attract and retain listeners.

Results:

  • Audience Growth: Achieved an 11% completely organic increase in subscribers in 2 months, expanding Brainsterโ€™s reach and influence.
  • Engagement Metrics: Recorded a 50% average episode completion rate, reflecting strong listener interest and retention. Increased the average number of video views for the channel.
  • Brand Positioning: Successfully enhanced Brainsterโ€™s established positioning as a thought leader in education and technology, bringing its connection with learners and professionals even closer. Braincast provided Brainster with a powerful platform to deliver valuable insights, connect with industry experts, and engage a growing community of listeners, further solidifying its role as an innovator in education.
